  • 3¼ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1½ cups dark chocolate (coarsely chopped or chips)
  • Sea salt flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare the hard caramel and let it cool slightly.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine light brown sugar, unsalted butter, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and eggs until well mixed.
  4. Gradually add baking powder, baking soda, sea salt, and flour; stir until just combined.
  5. Gently fold in dark chocolate pieces and prepared hard caramel.
