Ingredients
- 1 C unsalted butter (softened)
- 1 C granulated sugar
- 1 C light brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 2 1/2 C all purpose flour
- 1/4 C granulated sugar (for topping)
- 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×13 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together softened butter, granulated sugar, and light brown sugar until fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time and mix in vanilla extract.
- Gradually add salt, baking powder, ground cinnamon, and flour until combined.
- Transfer the batter to the prepared pan and spread evenly.
- Mix additional sugar with cinnamon for the topping and sprinkle it over the batter.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown on top.
- Allow cooling completely before slicing into squares.
