  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 teaspoons chai spice blend
  • 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
  • 46 tablespoons heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Brown the butter in a skillet until it turns dark amber, then transfer to a mixing bowl.
  2. Mix in sugars, then add eggs and vanilla until well blended.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, oats, chai spices, baking soda, and salt. Gradually mix into the wet mixture.
  4. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare baking sheets with parchment paper.
  5. Shape dough into balls and flatten slightly on the sheets.
  6. Bake for 12–14 minutes until edges are golden; cool completely.
