Ingredients
- 16 oz package regular Oreo cookies
- 8 oz package cream cheese (or vegan cream cheese)
- 1 1/2 teaspoons peppermint extract
- 8 oz melting chocolate (candy coating or almond bark)
Instructions
- Crush Oreos into fine crumbs using a food processor or rolling pin.
- In a mixing bowl, combine crushed Oreos with cream cheese and peppermint extract until well blended.
- Refrigerate the mixture for about one hour to firm up.
- Roll chilled mixture into 1-inch balls.
- Melt chocolate coating in the microwave or double boiler.
- Dip each ball in the melted chocolate until fully coated, then place on wax paper.
- Immediately sprinkle with crushed candy canes.
- Chill again for about one hour until set.
