Instructions
- Prepare your ingredients by dicing onions and mincing garlic.
- Season the chuck roast with salt, pepper, chili powder, cumin, smoked paprika, and oregano.
- Sear the seasoned meat in a large skillet over medium-high heat until browned on all sides.
- Place the seared meat in a slow cooker with onions, garlic, broth, and lime juice; cook on low for 5 hours until tender.
- Shred the beef with forks and return it to the juices before serving.
