  • ½ cup pure maple syrup
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon

  • 1 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease one 9×5 inch pan or two 8×4 inch pans; line the base with parchment paper.
  2. In a small bowl, mash bananas until smooth. Mix in brown sugar, vanilla extract, and cinnamon; set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, cream softened butter and sugar until light. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well.
  4. Sift flour, baking soda, and salt into another bowl; combine with the wet mixture until just mixed.
  5. Fold in the banana mixture gently.
  6. Pour batter into prepared pans and bake for approximately: Two 8×4 pans: 35–40 minutes; One 9×5 pan: Bake for 30 minutes at 350°F then lower to 325°F for an additional 15–20 minutes.
