Ingredients
- 12 fresh oysters (cleaned and on half shell)
- 6 tbsp unsalted butter
- 2 garlic cloves (minced)
- 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1 tsp lemon zest
- 1 tbsp chopped parsley
- Sea salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- Lemon wedges
- Extra chopped parsley
Instructions
- Preheat your grill to high heat (about 500°F / 260°C).
- In a small saucepan on low heat, melt the butter and add minced garlic, cooking until fragrant.
- Stir in lemon juice, lemon zest, parsley, salt, and pepper; remove from heat once combined.
- Place oysters on the grill flat side up; cover and cook for 2–3 minutes until edges curl.
- Spoon about 1 teaspoon of lemon butter sauce onto each oyster; close grill lid and cook for another 1–2 minutes.
- Carefully remove oysters using tongs; serve immediately with lemon wedges and extra parsley.
