- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil or cooking spray
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the leftover mashed potatoes, shredded cheese, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Shape the mixture into small balls or patties using your hands or a spoon.
- For frying: Heat olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry the puffs in batches for about 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown.
- For baking: Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and bake for about 20 minutes until golden.
