- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup long-grain white rice
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 1/2 cups whole milk
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika

- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Season the chicken with a blend of garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- In a medium pot, bring chicken broth and salt to a boil; add rice and simmer until tender.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet; cook the seasoned chicken until golden brown on both sides.
- In the same skillet, prepare the creamy sauce by melting butter and whisking in flour; gradually add milk and broth until thickened.
- Stir in additional seasonings and cheeses until melted.
- Combine the chicken with the sauce; let simmer briefly to heat through.
- Serve over the cooked rice garnished with fresh parsley.
