Ingredients
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
- 3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 8 sheets filo pastry
- 4 slices feta cheese
- 1 cup good quality honey
- Black sesame seeds (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Lay one sheet of filo pastry on a clean surface and brush lightly with melted butter. Layer additional sheets, brushing each with butter.
- Place feta slices in the center and drizzle half of the honey over them.
- Fold the edges of the pastry over the feta to create a package and place it on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Brush the top with remaining melted butter and bake for about 15 minutes until golden brown.
- Drizzle with remaining honey and sprinkle black sesame seeds before serving warm.
