- Roll each portion into a ball, place between plastic sheets, and flatten using a heavy dish or tortilla press to form thick tortillas.
- Cook each gordita on the hot griddle for about 1-2 minutes on each side until dark spots appear.
- Cut a slit in each cooked gordita to create pockets for stuffing. Fill with your favorite ingredients like cheese or vegetables.
