  • 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla Extract (Alcohol-Free)
  • 1/3 cup eggnog
  • 2/3 cup unsalted butter
  • 34 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (alcohol-free)
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 35 tablespoons eggnog
  • 12 tablespoons cornstarch

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In one bowl, whisk together flour, nutmeg, cinnamon, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream softened butter with granulated and brown sugars until fluffy. Add egg yolks and mix well; then stir in vanilla extract and eggnog.
  4. Gradually combine dry ingredients with wet ingredients until just mixed.
  5. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes or until edges are lightly golden. Cool on wire racks.
  6. For frosting, beat softened butter with powdered sugar, nutmeg, vanilla extract, salt, and enough eggnog to reach desired consistency. Frost cooled cookies.
