  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 250g orzo pasta
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 500ml chicken broth
  • 200ml heavy cream
  • 60g grated Parmesan cheese
  • 200g broccoli florets
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Season the diced chicken with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Sear in a skillet over medium heat for about 5-6 minutes until golden brown; set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté minced garlic for 1 minute. Add orzo and toast for about 12 minutes while stirring continuously.
  3. Pour in chicken broth and simmer for approximately 8 minutes until most liquid is absorbed. Stir in heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, and broccoli; cook until orzo is tender (about 5-6 minutes).
  4. Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and mix in fresh parsley before serving warm.
