- 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, room temperature
- 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
- 3 ripe bananas
- ½ cup (113g) melted butter
- 2 large eggs, room temperature
- ½ cup sour cream, room temperature
- 2 cups (256g) all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon baking powder
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease two 9×5-inch loaf pans.
- In a mixing bowl, beat together cream cheese and granulated sugar until smooth. Add egg and vanilla extract; mix until combined. Stir in flour and set aside.
- In another large bowl, mash ripe bananas, then mix in melted butter, both sugars, eggs, vanilla extract, and sour cream until well blended.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and baking powder. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients until just combined.
- Pour half of the batter into each loaf pan; layer with cream cheese mixture; top with remaining batter.
- Bake for 50-55 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs attached.
