Ingredients
- 1 cup Ditalini pasta
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 lb chicken sausage (casings removed)
- 5 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 onion (diced)
- 1 cup carrots (chopped)
- 3 stalks celery (diced)
- 3 cups chicken broth
- 16 oz tomato sauce
- 15 oz diced tomatoes
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 15 oz red kidney beans (rinsed/drained)
- 15 oz Great Northern Beans (drained/rinsed)
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package directions; drain and set aside.
- In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chicken sausage and brown until cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- Sauté garlic, onion, carrots, and celery in the same pot for about 4 minutes until tender.
- Stir in chicken broth, tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, basil, salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, cooked sausage, and water. Bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat to low and simmer for 15 minutes.
- Add beans and cooked pasta; stir until heated through.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
