  • 1 cup Ditalini pasta
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 lb chicken sausage (casings removed)
  • 5 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 onion (diced)
  • 1 cup carrots (chopped)
  • 3 stalks celery (diced)
  • 3 cups chicken broth
  • 16 oz tomato sauce
  • 15 oz diced tomatoes
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 15 oz red kidney beans (rinsed/drained)
  • 15 oz Great Northern Beans (drained/rinsed)

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chicken sausage and brown until cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  3. Sauté garlic, onion, carrots, and celery in the same pot for about 4 minutes until tender.
  4. Stir in chicken broth, tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, basil, salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, cooked sausage, and water. Bring to a boil.
  5. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 15 minutes.
  6. Add beans and cooked pasta; stir until heated through.
  7. Serve hot and enjoy!
