  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour (regular or gluten-free)
  • 1 cup old fashioned rolled oats
  • 4 tablespoons melted vegan butter (for the cinnamon swirl)
  • ⅓ cup light brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cinnamon (for the cinnamon swirl)
  • ¾ cup powdered sugar (for frosting)
  • 2 tablespoons melted vegan butter (for frosting)
  • 2 oz softened vegan cream cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a bowl, mash bananas and mix with melted vegan butter, maple syrup, almond milk, and vanilla extract.
  3. In another bowl, combine baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, salt, flour, and oats; add to the wet mixture until just combined.
  4. Pour half the batter into the loaf pan. Mix melted butter with brown sugar and cinnamon; spread half over the batter.
  5. Add remaining batter on top followed by the rest of the swirl mixture.
  6. Bake for 50–60 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Cool completely before frosting with a mixture of powdered sugar, melted vegan butter, and softened cream cheese.
