  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs

  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 cup ketchup (divided)
  • 2 cups prepared mashed potatoes
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 slices cooked turkey bacon (crumbled)
  • 2 tbsp chopped green onions or chives (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, milk, onion, garlic powder, salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, and half of the ketchup. Mix until just combined.
  3. Press the meat mixture into the baking dish and top with remaining ketchup. Bake for 20-25 minutes until cooked through.
  4. Spread prepared mashed potatoes over the meatloaf layer. Sprinkle cheese and crumbled turkey bacon on top.
  5. Bake again for an additional 10-15 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
