- ¼ cup fresh lime juice
- ¼ cup fresh orange juice
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin

- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- ½ teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- Corn or flour tortillas
- Fresh cilantro (for garnish)
- Diced onion (for garnish)
- Lime wedges (for serving)
- Pico de gallo, salsa verde, or guacamole (for topping optional)
Instructions
- Marinate the steak by mixing lime juice, orange juice, olive oil, minced garlic, spices, salt, and black pepper in a bowl. Add the flank steak and coat well. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
- Grill the marinated steak for about 5 minutes on each side for medium-rare doneness. Adjust cooking time as needed.
- Let the grilled steak rest for 5 minutes before slicing thinly against the grain.
- Warm tortillas on the grill briefly, then fill with sliced carne asada. Top with cilantro and diced onion and serve with lime wedges.
