  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: Serves 4

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb sirloin or ribeye steak tips
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 12 oz twisted pasta (rotini or fusilli)
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Chopped fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the twisted pasta in boiling salted water until al dente (8-10 minutes). Reserve ½ cup of pasta water before draining.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium-high heat. Sear the steak tips, seasoned with Cajun seasoning and spices, for about 3–4 minutes per side. Remove from skillet.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté minced garlic for one minute. Add heavy cream and milk; stir in cream cheese until smooth.
  4. Lower the heat; mix in Parmesan and mozzarella cheese until thickened. Adjust sauce consistency with reserved pasta water as needed.
  5. Combine cooked pasta with the sauce, then plate topped with steak tips and garnished with parsley.
