- 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 ounce onion soup mix
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 egg (beaten)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- In a mixing bowl, crumble the ground beef and add breadcrumbs, onion soup mix, Worcestershire sauce, beaten egg, salt, pepper, and milk. Mix gently until combined.
- In another bowl, combine ketchup, apple cider vinegar, and brown sugar to make the glaze.
- Spread half of the glaze in a loaf pan, then pack the meat mixture on top and shape it.
- Cover the top with the remaining glaze.
- Bake for about 1 hour and 10 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- Let it rest for five minutes before slicing and serving.
