- 1½ cup sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 3 large eggs, beaten
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- ¾ cup cooking oil or melted butter
- 2¼ cups mashed banana
- Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F and grease a 10-inch Bundt pan.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg until combined.
- In another bowl, blend together the beaten eggs, mashed bananas, sugar, and cooking oil until smooth.
- Gradually add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined; fold in nuts if using.
- Pour the batter into the prepared Bundt pan evenly.
- Bake for 55–60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cover loosely with foil if browning too quickly.
- Allow the cake to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before flipping onto a wire rack.
