- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup butter, softened

- 3–4 ripe bananas, mashed
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
- 1/4 cup butter (for frosting)
- 3–4 cups powdered sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract (for frosting)
- 2–3 tablespoons milk
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease and line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat together granulated sugar, sour cream, softened butter, and eggs until creamy. Mix in mashed bananas and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Sift in all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt. Gently fold together using a rubber spatula until just combined. Stir in chopped walnuts.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30–35 minutes or until golden brown. Allow to cool for about 10 minutes before frosting.
- For the frosting, melt butter in a saucepan until browned, then mix with powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and milk until smooth. Spread over warm brownies.
