- 3 cups all-purpose flour

- 2 sticks unsalted butter, at cool room temperature
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 1/4 cups light brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs, at room temperature
- 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt; set aside.
- In an electric mixer bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth. Add vanilla and eggs; mix well.
- Gradually incorporate dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined. Fold in chocolate chips.
- Chill the dough in plastic wrap for at least 24 hours (optional but recommended).
- Scoop dough into balls (about 3 tablespoons each) and place on prepared baking sheets.
- Bake for 11–13 minutes until edges are golden brown.
- Let cool on baking sheets for about five minutes before transferring to wire racks.
