  • 1 cup Butter (Cold)
  • 1/2 cup Apple (Grated)
  • 1 cup Buttermilk (Chilled)
  • 3 tablespoons Unsalted Butter (Chilled)
  • 3 tablespoons Honey
  • pinch Salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, sugar, salt, and spices.
  3. Cut cold butter into the dry ingredients until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Gently stir in grated apple and add buttermilk gradually until just combined.
  5. Turn the dough onto a floured surface, pat down to about ¾ inch thick, and cut out biscuits using a round cutter.
